Job summary

Massachusetts Financial Services Company (MFS) is offering a Data Management co-op position within the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) group. The role focuses on data quality, governance, analytics support, and data technology to support the enterprise’s Unified Data Platform.

You will report to the Data Management & Quality organization and gain exposure to multiple EDM domains. The six‑month program runs July 7 through December 18, 2026, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 35–40 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
• Interest in investment data, investment operations, and learning investment applications/technology.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Refine procedures and activities that enhance data management and quality for core investment data domains.
• Identify, build, and implement new data quality checks with Data Analysts and data domain owners.
• Execute daily and monthly data quality checks and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to EDM data initiatives and assist with metadata completeness for root causes, domain type, and accountability/ownership.
• Maintain EDM SharePoint site and handle other data-focused tasks and projects as needed.
