Conexess Group is seeking an EDI Engineer for a hybrid long-term contract. The role focuses on designing and maintaining EDI applications, automations, and integrations, with strong SQL Server and API experience. Remote options are available with Mountain Time alignment.

The candidate will participate in agile ceremonies, perform code reviews, and collaborate with end users to gather data requirements while ensuring data integrity and security across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related software development, EDI, integration, or systems support experience.
• Experience developing and supporting EDI transactions and integrations.
• Strong SQL Server / T-SQL experience.
• Experience with APIs, file transfer technologies, and automation platforms.
• Experience with Git/Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Participate actively in story grooming, estimation, sprint planning, PI planning, daily standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives to support delivery and alignment.
• Review and understand low-level designs, asking clarifying questions to ensure requirements and dependencies are understood.
• Design, develop, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain EDI applications, integrations, automation workflows, and supporting services.
• Develop clean, maintainable, secure, and scalable code following engineering standards and DevOps practices.
• Schedule and participate in code reviews for each story to improve quality and knowledge sharing.
• Diagnose underlying problems related to data integrity.
• Use SQL Server to access information systems and provide information support.
• Meet with end users to discuss information to be extracted from databases or source files.
• Design, develop and support information deliverables in ad-hoc and production fashion.
• Work with database systems to ensure data security and integrity.
• Ensure solutions meet business objectives and maintain user trust.
• Proactively research tools and processes to identify troublesome trends.
• Make decisions impacting throughput, problem solving, and infrastructure planning.
• Participate in IT projects to upgrade EDI infrastructure.
• Analyze existing EDI processes and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to daily workflow with regular attendance.
• Perform software and OS tests.
• Organize files and reference materials.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
