Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an E-commerce Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our Welkom-based team. You will craft digital narratives, produce content, and manage social channels to drive e-commerce growth in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a strong portfolio, writing and visual storytelling skills, competency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, SEO awareness, and the ability to collaborate with marketing and sales while staying on brand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in content creation for e-commerce and social media.
• Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of SEO principles for content optimization.
• Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field is a plus.
• Must reside in or be able to commute to Welkom for hybrid work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with e-commerce goals and brand identity.
• Create engaging content for social media, blogs, and websites (graphics, videos, copy).
• Manage all social media platforms, schedule posts, engage with audiences and inquiries.
• Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for cohesive campaigns.
• Stay current with social media trends and content creation techniques.
• Assist in influencer marketing campaigns.
• Maintain brand consistency across digital touchpoints.
• Manage content calendar and timely delivery of assets.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions in Welkom or remotely.
