Job summary

The AMES Companies, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking an E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist to manage online brand experiences on retail and e-Retail sites.

You will create, improve, and maintain product detail pages and merchandising initiatives to ensure customer engagement and brand consistency across channels. Responsibilities include optimizing listings for better search visibility, collaborating with product and sales teams, and using creative assets to drive conversions while staying

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, eCommerce or relevant field.
• 2-4 years of recent experience in Digital, eCommerce, eRetail Merchandising or related field.
• Experience with Big Box Retailers and consumer packaged goods brands.
• Self-directed and capable of handling multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and customer focus.
• Proven merchandising skills increasing eCommerce sales including SEO, navigation and taxonomy.
• Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Minimal travel required (about 5%).

Responsibilities

• Managing product detail pages, enrichment, A+ Content, features, and attributes aligned with goals.
• Collaborate with product management and sales to plan and develop site merchandising.
• Create engaging product detail pages using copy, imagery, and current merchandising trends.
• Optimize product pages to improve ranking on search engines and site searches.
• Learn and use onboarding management systems to manage catalog and digital assets.
• Monitor KPIs and metrics and provide recommendations to improve customer experience.
• Identify marketing opportunities on each channel to drive conversions.
• Communicate metric expectations for digital programs and report results.
• Review industry and competitive analysis to stay current with technology and market conditions.
