Job summary

Magid Glove & Safety in Romeoville, IL, is seeking an eCommerce Marketplace Coordinator to support day-to-day catalog and marketplace activities, improving product discoverability, content accuracy, and customer experience across marketplaces where Magid has a presence.

You will assist with product setup, content updates, catalog audits, and performance monitoring while collaborating with Marketing, IT, Inventory, and Digital Marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Merchandising, eCommerce, or related field preferred; equivalent internship or hands-on experience may be considered.
• 0-2 years of work experience in eCommerce, merchandising, marketplace operations, catalog management, digital retail, marketing support, or related field.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms or marketplace tools such as Magento/Adobe Commerce, Amazon Vendor Central, or Amazon Seller Central.
• Foundational understanding of eCommerce, online merchandising, digital retail, or marketplace operations.
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts and product discoverability.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; AS400 experience or willingness to learn AS400-based workflows is helpful.
• Comfortable working with data in Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central or marketplace performance tools is preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to follow established processes.
• Able to prioritize work, manage multiple items, and communicate status or blockers in a timely manner.
• Willingness to learn new systems and build marketplace knowledge over time.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Support product setup, categorization, content updates, pricing review, and merchandising improvements across assigned marketplaces.
• Help improve online product listings and shopping experiences through site search, product detail pages, and guided shopping content.
• Review product content for accuracy and completeness (titles, descriptions, images, attributes, pricing).
• Conduct routine audits across marketplace platforms to identify issues and opportunities for catalog improvement.
• Monitor marketplace and product performance metrics to identify trends and issues.
• Use Amazon Vendor Central and other tools to support listing creation, content maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Use third-party tools to track account and catalog health and surface recurring issues.
• Work from priorities in project tools (ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Monday.com) to support onboarding and daily execution.
• Use AS400 ERP information with internal teams to support product setup and data validation.
• Partner with Marketing, IT, Inventory, and Digital Marketing teams for site updates and campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to improve discoverability, content quality, and conversion.
