Careers In Nonprofits, Brooklyn-based Educational Alumni Foundation, seeks a Stewardship Associate to strengthen donor relationships and alumni engagement for a NYC technical high school. The role focuses on personalized outreach, donor recognition, and impactful storytelling.

The position supports a collaborative team reporting to the Director of Development. Hybrid work schedule applies with occasional evenings and weekend events; salary range is $60,000–$65,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Relationship-building across diverse backgrounds and donors.
• Strong diplomacy and emotional intelligence in alumni relations.
• Excellent written and verbal donor communication skills.
• 2–5 years in nonprofit development, alumni relations, or donor stewardship.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate communications.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented with ability to own projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop stewardship materials and donor impact reports to show philanthropy impact.
• Support events and donor receptions to strengthen relationships.
• Collaborate with Alumni Engagement to recognize sponsorships and engage alumni.
• Maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge and ensure timely reporting.
