Job summary

Gordon Food Service seeks a Division Merchandising Manager to lead product merchandising within the assigned division, coordinating with regional teams, marketing, sales and vendors to achieve sales, margin and brand objectives.

You will serve as the main contact for the regional vendor/broker community, developing strategies that align with the long-range plan and divisional goals, and supporting training for CDS and product specialists in collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product/category knowledge or marketing experience.
• Bi-Lingual in English & French preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates flow of product, category, brand and supplier information between regional merchandising and divisional teams.
• Collaborates to maintain product mix, attain sales and meet margin goals.
• Plan and assist in training and development for CDS and related teams.
• Develops and communicates vendor/broker partnership strategies.
