Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a District Planning Specialist to serve as the single point of contact for project assignments, plan development, and coordination across departments. You will support field data collection, design validation, and budgeting while balancing stakeholder expectations and timelines.

The role requires handling multiple projects with strong attention to detail, adaptability to priorities, and collaboration across teams to deliver safe, reliable energy

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in Electrical Utility Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Design, Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Line Construction, or Engineering discipline.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares construction plans, drawings, and/or circuit maps; designs distribution plans and provides cost estimates while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Interacts with customers to meet electrical design needs and deliver outcomes for the customer and SCE.
• Manages multiple projects with project management tools and techniques under tight timelines, shifts priorities, and resolves escalations affecting scope, timeline, and budget.
