Southern California Edison is seeking a District Planning Specialist in Santa Monica to design, plan, and manage electrical distribution projects from concept through execution. Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Electrical Utility Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Design or related engineering field.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsabilités

• Develops and prepares construction plans, drawings, and circuit maps with cost estimates and timelines.
• Interact with diverse customers to meet design needs and deliver outcomes for the customer and SCE.
• Manage small to medium projects for distribution overhead and underground facilities, determining scope and construction methods.
• Provide technical support to licensing and certification for new lines and substations.
• Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with approved plans.
• Coordinate environmental requirements with departments and external sources.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, manage risks and escalations.
• Perform field data gathering for planning and development reviews.
