Job summary

Hillebrand Gori in Edison, NJ is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Dispatch to support transportation operations. You will handle inquiries, process orders, coordinate with carriers, prepare invoices, and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in shipping/logistics, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and strong Excel/Office skills. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers in a hybrid work environment with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in shipping/logistics/supply chain management industry/transportation.
• Container drayage/port experience preferred.
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for inbound/outbound calls, emails, chats and other communications.
• Process inquiries, orders, service requirements and complaints.
• Provide product/service-related information to respond to inquiries.
• Perform data gathering, entry and validation tasks.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to move shipments.
• Review orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
• Make special shipping arrangements as needed.
• Track and fix shipping errors and prepare invoices.
