Job summary

AMS Impact Group is seeking a highly organized Director of Operations to oversee compliance, facilities, transportation, and student programs across our Tempe network. You will partner with school and network leadership to ensure safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of progressive operations experience in education or nonprofit settings, strong vendor-management skills, and familiarity with PowerSchool.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Public Administration, Education, or related field.
• 3–5 years managing multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating vendors, facilities services, or contracted providers.
• Experience in a school, education, nonprofit, or multi-site setting preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PowerSchool or comparable student information systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance oversight, health and safety inspections, and regulatory records.
• Manage facilities, vendor relationships, and service providers.
• Coordinate transportation, field trips, aftercare, athletics, clubs, and student programs.
• Lead onboarding, training, and development for operations staff.
• Maintain SOPs, improve processes, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with school goals.
