Job summary

Catalyst Brands is seeking a strategic Director to lead Reliability, Automation, and Performance Engineering across its digital platforms. You will own SRE, advance performance engineering, and build an automation platform leveraging AI and self-service capabilities.

The role requires coordinating with product, security, and platform teams to deliver fast, reliable experiences. Lead global engineering squads, foster a culture of innovation, and drive operational excellence and customer outcomes

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive engineering leadership in retail/digital environments.
5+ years leading reliability, performance, automation, or digital engineering teams.
Deep expertise in SRE, observability, incident and problem management.
Experience with web architectures, microservices, and APIs.
Ability to translate business goals into technical strategy in agile environments.

Responsibilities

Own SRE strategy across Catalyst Brands Digital platforms and drive production stability.
Lead performance engineering to improve speed, scalability, and user experience.
Define and lead AI-enabled automation and self-service test platforms.
Build and scale high-performance engineering teams with inclusive leadership.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable digital solutions.
