Job summary

Canon USA in Melville, NY is seeking a Digital Marketing Project Manager (Specialist, Project Mgmt). This role serves as the central point of coordination for planning, resource management, stakeholder communications, risk mitigation, and execution, ensuring delivery of digital campaigns, website initiatives, content programs, and marketing technology enhancements.

The ideal candidate has PMP certification or in progress, with 3–5 years of project management experience, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Project Management methodologies, tools and techniques (SDLC and Agile/Scrum).
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• IT Focus may be applicable: 3-5 years of relevant IT or business work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and tracks project plans and milestones, issues and risks, actual versus planned schedule, and quality metrics.
• Prepares and maintains detailed project plans, including activities, tasks, assignments, milestones and estimates.
• Controls project scope and enforces strong project change management process.
• Owns project issue resolution and risk management.
• Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, progress, and overall project health.
• Coordinates and tracks the project activities of the project team, including implementation vendors, architects, business analysts, Canon staff, and business stakeholders.
• Ensures consistent application across projects of Canon's system development lifecycle process, including quality processes and turnover to production.
• Participates in project initiation activities, including definition of project scope & objectives, formation of project teams, development of high level requirements and solution architecture.
• Conducts project post implementation reviews to evaluate whether project objectives were met, to determine how effectively the project was run, and to identify areas for future improvement.
• Participates in project planning and project portfolio management.
• Receives general instruction from manager on expected work outcomes and exercises good judgment in day‑to‑day matters.
