Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a Forensics Principal to oversee delivery of digital forensics services for law firms and corporate clients, across the U.S., with global collaboration. The role includes mentoring junior staff and expanding client relationships, while guiding complex eDiscovery and investigations from intake through final reporting.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in forensics tools, extensive experience leading teams, and the ability to bridge client

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on digital forensics experience.
• 7+ years of supervising employees.
• 5+ years leading, building and maintaining a digital forensics program.
• Experience with preservation and examinations on mobile device operating systems using industry-standard tools.
• Proficient with industry-standard forensic and eDiscovery tools (EnCase, FTK, Tableau, X-Ways, Macquisiton, Cellebrite Nuix, Relativity).
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work with diverse audiences and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
• Manage US and Mexico Digital Forensics team day-to-day.
• Develop and deliver process-improvement initiatives for the Technology practice.
• Lead investigations involving data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Create affidavits, declarations and expert witness materials as needed.
• Collaborate with global teams to align standards and best practices.
• Support business development through client relationships and proposals.
• Mentor junior team members on digital forensics practices.
