Job summary

Citi is seeking a CSIS Digital Forensic Investigator in Irving, TX. The role requires coordinating high-level fraud and security investigations, applying advanced forensic methods, and reporting findings clearly to internal partners.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of experience, certifications like GCFE/GCFA, and strong Python/PowerShell scripting skills, with readiness for on-call support and court testimony when needed.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience.
• Experience conducting investigative interviews and recording techniques.
• Experience investigating complex cases with substantial impact.
• Understanding of forensic and eDiscovery processes, chain of custody.
• Experience testifying in court matters.
• Strong report writing to present evidence cohesively.
• Knowledge of financial products, frauds and trends.
• Experience in-house investigations team preferred.
• Professional certifications GCFE/GCFA (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reports and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and investigate high-level fraud matters and/or network security incidents.
• This role uses investigative interviewing, fraud identification, and forensic skills to identify fraud Activities and trends.
• Conduct proactive, complex investigations and provide fraud preventive intelligence.
• Engage partners and management to keep them informed during investigations.
• Recovery of losses through restitution, property or direct payment by suspects.
• Build external relationships with law enforcement and industry peers.
• Interviews with suspects, witnesses, and third parties; evidence collection and forensic analysis.
• Represent Citi in court and provide testimony as needed.
• Mentor and train junior staff; brief others on investigations.
• Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.
• Advise senior stakeholders on risk and compliance with laws and policies.
