You will coordinate high-level fraud and network security investigations, mentor junior staff, testify in court when needed, and build relationships with law enforcement and industry peers while ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting investigative interviews and recording techniques that tie the facts and evidence together.
• Experience representing/testifying in criminal and civil court matters.
• Knowledge of financial products, frauds and trends.
• Professional certifications (GCFE, GCFA, or equivalent).
• Experience in an in-house investigations team.

Responsibilities

• An Investigator will coordinate and investigate high level fraud matters and/or network security incidents.
• Utilize expertise in investigative interviewing, fraud identification, loss prevention, network security, and cyber enabled fraud to identify fraud activities and schemes.
• Conduct proactive, complex, high profile investigations to develop cases and provide timely fraud intelligence to partners.
• Engage with management to keep them apprised of significant changes during investigations.
• Represent Citi in court matters and provide accurate testimony.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
• Brief others on ongoing investigations and projects.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies.
