Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Digital Forensics Analyst to support CI/CT investigations, design and lead training, and evaluate emerging forensic technologies. The role involves recovering data from computers and storage devices, using forensic tools, and producing intelligence-based reports.

The position requires DoD DFE certification, 2+ years of host-based forensics experience, and relevant certifications (ISFCE/IACIS, CFCE, GCFE).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of host-based forensic experience and DoD DFE certification.
• Team must hold digital forensic certifications (CFCE/GCFE/IACIS) and two years of mobile device forensics.
• Education expectations include HS diploma with extensive relevant experience or higher degrees.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital media forensics including on-site and off-site evidence acquisition and reporting.
• Protect chain of custody and ensure admissibility of evidence.
• Support incident response, malware analysis, and cyber forensic tasks.
• Develop notes and reporting based on forensic findings.
