Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team in Lehighton. The role combines front-line patient contact with diagnostic imaging, ensuring safety, accuracy and patient comfort throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, data collection, room preparation, and image acquisition with strict adherence to safety standards. Onsite day shifts with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years diagnostic imaging experience in healthcare.
• Strong anatomy, physiology, radiation physics knowledge.
• Proficiency in EMR, PACS, scheduling platforms and MS Office.
• Ability to explain imaging procedures and reassure patients.
• HIPAA, OSHA and radiation safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient check-in/check-out and verify insurance; manage registrations.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Assist providers with patient information collection and examinations.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with proper positioning and technique.
• Maintain radiology logs, safety records, and quality control documentation.
• Complete follow-up communications with patients as needed.
• Support radiology workflow to ensure efficient patient care.
