Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer (DevSecOps) to modernize critical medical logistics applications for the Defense Logistics Agency. You will transform legacy systems into secure, agile DevSecOps solutions and help build automated pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.

The position requires on-site presence in Northeast Philadelphia with a Wednesday on-site schedule, and a willingness to adapt to evolving government program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• US citizen with NACLC clearance or ability to obtain.
• Foundational knowledge of object-oriented languages (C#, Java).
• Experience with DevSecOps concepts and Agile.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build features for web apps using C#, .NET MVC, and Angular.
• Transform legacy applications to modern DevSecOps approaches.
• Participate in scrums and sprint planning to support agile delivery.
• Convert legacy ops to containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines with SonarQube, Fortify, and secret management.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD processes for automated builds, tests, and releases.
• Support business capabilities using middle-tier and database tech (C#, PL-SQL).
• Learn new tools and technologies used on the program quickly.
