Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Software Developer (DevSecOps) to modernize critical medical logistics applications for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

You will contribute to transforming legacy systems into secure, agile DevSecOps solutions and help build scalable containerized services. Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to implement CI/CD pipelines, integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle, and participate in Scrum activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Foundational knowledge of object-oriented software language (e.g., C#, Java).

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy features for web applications using C#, .NET, and Angular.
• Transform legacy applications to modern DevSecOps solutions with security in mind.
• Contribute to Agile and DevSecOps culture through scrums and sprint planning.
• Assist with converting legacy operations to containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Help integrate security into the DevOps pipeline with vulnerability scanning and compliance auditing.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and release processes.
• Support application teams with business capabilities using middle-tier and database tech.
• Learn and adapt to new tools and technologies used on the program.
