Dark Wolf is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps SME / Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to join a collaborative, fast-paced mission environment. The role partners with the customer team and external contractors in a hybrid work setup in Colorado Springs, CO or Herndon, VA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT security or DevSecOps experience.
• Proficient in Python or Golang with automation focus.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and container security.
• Ability to produce security docs and support customer reviews.
• US Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate information systems designs, cloud architectures, and accreditation requirements.
• Perform vulnerability assessments using SonarQube, Snyk, NeuVector, and OWASP ZAP.
• Review software installation requests and assess risk in Kubernetes clusters.
• Coordinate security actions using GitOps with ArgoCD and GitLab CI/CD.
• Maintain DISA STIGs and automated hardening with Ansible and Dockerfiles.
• Monitor logs and metrics with Grafana/Loki/Prometheus/Tempo.
• Enforce zero-trust networking in containerized environments.
