Job summary

Dev Technology is seeking a DevOps-focused engineer in Ashburn, VA on a hybrid schedule. You will work with development and operations to implement and support a delivery pipeline enabling continuous integration, deployment, and testing.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of infra experience, experience with Harness, scripting, monitoring (Dynatrace, Kibana, Splunk) and Kubernetes. A DHS Public Trust is preferred; salary range $100,000 to $125,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years of infrastructure experience
• Experience building and maintaining a CI pipeline with Harness
• Scripting/automation for infrastructure (Shell, Python, Bash)
• Experience monitoring production using Dynatrace, Kibana, Splunk
• Experience with Git, Gitlab, Maven/Gradle, Nodejs, npm, REST API, jq, kubernetes/kubectl
• Strong problem-solving to find root causes and implement fixes
• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to collaborate with team to meet client needs

Responsibilities

• Implement/maintain delivery pipeline with CI/CD and automated testing
• Improve availability, scalability, and performance of the environment
• Support DevOps practices: CI/CD, release planning, monitoring
• Support production deployments and on-call rotations
