Job summary

Dev Technology Group is a growing IT company delivering technology services to federal customers. This hybrid role in Ashburn, VA supports a DevOps team responsible for automated delivery pipelines, deployment, and monitoring across environments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in infrastructure, strong scripting skills, and experience with monitoring tools and Kubernetes. Eligible for DHS Public Trust clearance as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree combined with at least 3 years of technical infrastructure experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining a continuous integration pipeline using tools such as Harness.
• Experience scripting and programming for infrastructure automation (e.g. Shell, Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring a production environment with tools like Dynatrace, Kibana and Splunk.
• Experience with Git, Gitlab, Maven/Gradle, Nodejs, npm, REST API / curl, jq, kubernetes/kubectl.
• Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

• Work with a DevOps team to implement and support a continuous integration, deployment and testing pipeline.
• Develop improvements to availability, scalability, and performance of the environment.
• Support DevOps practices including continuous improvement, release planning, CI/CD, continuous testing, and monitoring.
• Support production deployments and issue resolution on a rotating basis with other engineers.
