Stanley Reid & Company seeks a DevOps Engineer for a San Antonio, TX engagement with a 75% remote, 25% onsite split. The role emphasizes security-minded operations and cloud infrastructure in AWS, with strong collaboration across engineering teams.

The candidate should have 5+ years in DevOps or software engineering, Java preferred, and possess DoD 8140/8570 (Security+) certification. U.S. citizenship and active clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps or software engineering experience, Java preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible or Puppet).
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Ability to program in multiple languages—Java, Python, Bash or Go.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 certification (Security+).
• US Citizenship is required; active TS/SCI or higher clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and automate DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and security to implement secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Maintain and enhance cloud-based services (AWS).
• Assist in cloud migration and data tooling as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Software Engineering, Java preferred
• Strong knowledge of Linux Systems
