Job summary
California School Boards Association (CSBA) seeks an experienced DevOps Software Engineer to join our technology team in West Sacramento. Under the CTO, you will implement DevOps practices, automate builds, improve CI/CD, and manage cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong automation skills, experience with AWS/Azure, containerization, and collaboration with developers to deliver reliable software releases. This role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office and remote days.
Qualifications
- Three to four years leading DevOps and software development.
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong background in CI/CD, automation and deployment workflows.
Responsibilities
- Automate building, testing and deployment processes.
- Develop automated monitoring and alerting systems.
- Troubleshoot performance, deployment and infrastructure issues.
- Enforce security best practices in the SDLC.
- Manage IaC for scalable infrastructure.
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers on planning and delivery.
- Lead security implementation for deployed apps.
- Communicate system configurations clearly.
