Feeding America, a national nonprofit, seeks a Development Coordinator to act as an operational partner to the Chief Development Officer. You will manage the CDO’s calendar, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and support donor engagement across departments.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience supporting senior leaders in a complex stakeholder environment requiring executive scheduling, prioritization, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and highly complex schedules with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to research, synthesize information, and prepare concise briefings, presentations, meeting materials, and executive communications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and manages an executive calendar, aligning time with priorities, travel, donor engagements, commitments, and leadership activities.
• Tracks strategic priorities, decisions, and commitments, and alerts the CDO to risks, delays, or opportunities needing attention.
• Coordinates planning and execution of cross-functional initiatives with work plans, milestones, and stakeholder communication.
• Provides briefing materials, presentations, and meeting plans to support executive decision-making and donor engagement.
• Supports donor engagement planning through research coordination, meeting tracking, CRM documentation, and follow-up activities.
