Job summary

Minnesota Opera seeks a Development Associate to help grow the Individual Giving program, managing a portfolio of mid-level donors and supporting annual fund campaigns and special initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Individual Giving, you will collaborate with Marketing, Patron Services, and Advancement staff; strong data management, Tessitura, and relationship-building are essential in this role. Hybrid work, Minneapolis location, starting salary $50k-$55k.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience (required).
• Three or more years working in Development (preferred).
• Strong donor relationship management and communications skills.
• Experience with donor databases and fundraising campaigns preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of lower to mid-level donors to maintain and grow giving.
• Plan and execute Advanced Annual Fund solicitations and campaigns.
• Support leadership with donor communications and stewardship.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Patron Services, and Advancement staff.
• Maintain accurate data entry and reporting in Tessitura and CRM.
