Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Design Coordinator in Houston, TX to support planning, coordination, development, and delivery of design projects across the organization.

You'll act as a central hub among designers, project managers, stakeholders, consultants, and vendors, keeping design information organized, tracking revisions, and ensuring timely progress from concept through execution. The role requires strong organization, design awareness, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in design coordination or related field.
• Strong organizational and document-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design activities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Organize design files, drawings, specifications, presentations, and project documentation.
• Track design deliverables, deadlines, revisions, and approvals.
• Coordinate the distribution and review of design materials.
• Maintain accurate records of current and superseded design documents.
• Help ensure that design information is complete, accurate, and available to the appropriate teams.
