Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Design Manager to oversee design quality and execution in their Albany, Texas location. This key role requires 5-7 years of experience in project and design management, ensuring designs meet expectations for reliability, speed, and cost.

The Design Manager will coordinate across teams, manage design risk, and drive product standardization, contributing to high-quality delivery. This position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• 5‑7 years of experience in project and/or design management, particularly in construction.
• Ability to lead teams of internal and external stakeholders including engineers and contractors.
• Proficient in managing multiple complex projects and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design-related communication and milestones across teams.
• Drive product standardization and ensure design solutions are optimized.
• Manage RFI resolution, design clarifications, and change controls.
