Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience as demonstrated by PE certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead broad or complex design projects within the Rite-Hite Stage Gate process.
• Develop product requirements, concepts, and prototypes; conceptualize designs related to product definitions.
• Create CAD drawings/models for concepts, prototyping, and testing; review drawings for accuracy.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and test stands; write test plans and direct tests.
• Coordinate with suppliers and prepare purchase specifications; support production, service, and aftermarket engineering.
• Perform failure analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
