Job summary

Wellington Management seeks an Analyst to support the Derivatives Operations team handling daily collateral and margin management across futures, cleared OTC, and listed options. You will coordinate with brokers, custodians, and technology teams to ensure accurate trade capture, timely processing, and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and strong academic record.
• 2+ years of investment operations experience.
• Knowledge of collateral, margin, or other post-trade processes a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review margin calls from brokers, investigate discrepancies, and issue wires to meet margin and collateral needs.
• Monitor and manage collateral requirements, including balance supervision and collateral selection.
• Perform daily control reconciliations across holdings, futures trades, collateral, and currency balances.
• Support day‑to‑day broker relationships, issue resolution, inquiries, escalation, and operational reviews.
• Serve as a resource for queries raised by clients, custodians, accounting agents, brokers, PMs, trading, and internal staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve front‑to‑back efficiency and strengthen control processes.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and high‑quality outputs to steward risk and controls.
