Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to own the unconstrained rolling demand plan for OE, aftermarket, and MRO. You will guide the IBP process with cross-functional teams to align demand signals, market intelligence, and business assumptions into actionable plans across supply chain and finance.

The role emphasizes improving forecast accuracy, bias, and contributing to revenue and working capital forecasting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required; advanced degree or APICS/IBF CPF preferred.
5+ years in supply chain, demand planning, or IBP/S&OP experience.
Experience forecasting using statistical, rate-based, and assumption-driven methods.
Knowledge of IBP, S&OP, forecasting, inventory and supply planning processes.
Experience with SAP/ERP and advanced planning systems.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain a single unconstrained rolling demand plan across OE, aftermarket, and MRO lines.
Lead the monthly Demand Review within the IBP framework with cross-functional teams.
Develop Forecasting models using demand signals, history, and market intel.
Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; identify root causes and implement actions.
Provide demand projections and risk assessments to support planning and leadership.
Collaborate with Operations, Programs, Finance to align demand with capabilities.
Support reconciliation of operational and financial plans; highlight gaps and risks.
Own master data governance and user training for demand planning processes.
Support SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, Kinaxis Maestro initiatives and data readiness.
Provide executive-level reporting and insights on trends and opportunities.
