Job summary

Opella is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to support forecasting, inventory control and analytics in a hybrid role based in Chattanooga, TN or Morristown, NJ. You’ll work with Kinaxis, cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain, and drive accuracy improvements in the IBP process.

The ideal candidate has a degree or 5+ years in planning/analytics, proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of experience in demand planning, manufacturing, inventory control, or analytics.
• Experience with Kinaxis and/or SAP preferred; other ERP system experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and able to quickly learn new systems.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with cross‑functional ability.
• Self‑motivated and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kinaxis activities, including NPIs, SKU forecast disaggregation, and pricing maintenance.
• Improve forecast accuracy and bias through reporting, models, and insights.
• Prepare monthly consumption and shipment reports/models across brands.
• Support inventory reduction and customer service goals aligned with strategy.
• Provide timely item-level forecasts to production planners.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain to integrate demand plan.
• Analyze forecast accuracy, POS trends, inventory and shipments; propose improvements.
