Job summary

RTX is hiring a Demand Planning Professional to support the Mission Systems business from Cedar Rapids, IA. You will develop and maintain an 18+ month rolling demand plan and translate customer requirements into production and supply plans.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Program Management, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to balance capacity, inventory and financial goals, ensuring on-time delivery. This role is hybrid with possible locations and up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Prior experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting.
• Travel as business needs dictate- could be up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling 18+ month minimum unconstrained demand plan for OE, Aftermarket, and MRO / Spares using inputs of historical data, customer and business intelligence.
• Lead Demand Reviews and drive cross-functional alignment on the consensus demand plan.
• Translate customer demand into requirements that support the master schedule and Operations.
• Support SIOP activities, including financial reconciliation, supply reviews, and executive reviews.
• Analyze demand, orders, inventory, market trends, and forecast variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop build-to-stock recommendations, burn-down plans, sales forecasts, and inventory targets.
