Australia-Employment is seeking a Controller for a franchise automotive dealer group in Clovis, NM. The role is full-time and hybrid, with initial on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

You will oversee accounting across the dealership group, including general ledger, monthly closes, and financial analyses for multiple locations. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting, with leadership experience in dealership environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience
• Experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader in automotive dealerships preferred
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Hybrid role with initial work in Clovis NM and potential future expansion

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting across the dealership group including general ledger and monthly closes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple locations.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturers, lenders, regulators and internal controls; support audits.
• Supervise accounting staff; review reconciliations and cash flow.
• Coordinate budgets and forecasts; provide financial insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with department managers to improve processes and profitability; ensure timely reporting across all stores.
