Job summary

WEC Energy Group is seeking a Database Administrator to support Green Bay and Pewaukee environments with hybrid work options. You will design, implement, manage, monitor, and maintain multiple database servers across production, test, and development environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or HANA, plus scripting and query optimization skills. On-call rotation and a competitive compensation package are included.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or HANA preferred.
Knowledge of relational DBMS and ability to script and execute SQL queries.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in production environments.
Perform query and database performance tuning, schema design, capacity planning, and change control tasks.
Design, implement, and manage backup, re-indexing, and database optimization tasks.
Contribute to database design and code reviews with development teams.
Install and configure SQL Server, Oracle, or HANA according to SOPs.
Baseline system performance and monitor for deviations; recommend improvements.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call support role on a rotating basis.
