Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Database Administrator at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to administer and support MS-SQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases for government programs. The role ensures data integrity, performance, and recoverability for enterprise applications.

The candidate must hold U.S. citizenship and possess an Active Secret clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility for classified system development, plus DoD 8140/8570.01-M CE certification within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• English proficiency in speaking, reading, writing and comprehension.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and other Government-approved database platforms.
• Manage data storage, monitor device usage, and implement measures to improve system performance.
• Support database backup, archive, and recovery using Government-approved tools and scripting languages.
• Continually monitor data integrity and notify the Government within two work hours of any database discrepancy.
• Support RMF accreditation artifacts and eMASS package maintenance for designated systems.
