Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, computer science, engineering, OR similar; or a Bachelor’s in a quantitative field with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in client-facing roles and analytic work in Financial Services is preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Advanced programming skills; proficiency with R or Python; experience with SQL, Hive, Spark, Java, Ab Initio; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive new business initiatives and deliver value-added analytics solutions.
• Lead analytic client engagements spanning descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses.
• Own projects from design to development and client presentation and audit.
• Develop proposals and collateral to promote analytic products and services.
• Design, write, and test data extraction, segmentation, and statistical analysis programs using R, Python, SQL, Hive and Spark.
