Job summary

JANSON Communications, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist – Predictive Analytics to advance Army logistics through data science, predictive models, and GenAI tooling.

You will prepare data, develop and evaluate models, and maintain analytics products under senior guidance, with exposure to Palantir Foundry and supervised learning methods. The role targets early-career professionals who will contribute to logistics and sustainment decisions while pursuing growth opportunities and security-clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related graduate study is preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience or internships may count toward requirement.
• Foundational knowledge of statistics, supervision, and predictive analytics workflows.
• Programming in Python and SQL with experience in Pandas/Scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Model Development Support: assist with building, testing, and refining predictive models.
• Data Preparation and Quality: clean, validate, and explore datasets; support feature engineering.
• Analytics Platform Support: learn Palantir Foundry and support data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics products.
• Model Evaluation: run experiments, compare performance, document results.
• Documentation and Training: draft technical docs, job aids, and training materials.
• Product Sustainment: perform updates, version-control, and maintenance tasks.
• Team Collaboration: participate in reviews and communicate progress.
