Job summary

Nexxen seeks a seasoned data science professional to join a team developing data-driven solutions with real impact. Based in Bellevue or New York, the role combines in-office collaboration with remote work three days a week in a hybrid schedule.

You will work with data science and engineering teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable ML pipelines, using Python, SQL and popular ML libraries. A strong growth mindset and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Education in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related technical field; 6+ years overall experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in creating data science-based solutions.
• Growth mindset and curiosity; willingness to learn new techniques and tools.
• Proactiveness and self-motivation; ability to work with minimal supervision and contribute beyond assignment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to present findings clearly.
• Extensive experience with SQL, Python, and ML packages.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data science teammates, engineers and product experts to develop data-based solutions with business impact.
• Contribute to design and deployment of scalable data science pipelines and models.
• Write scalable, clean code and participate in ML model development and evaluation.
• Present technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Implement and optimize machine learning workflows in production environments.
