Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation in Buffalo, NY seeks a senior analytics leader to develop data-driven insights, dashboards, and automated reporting. You will validate data quality and promote governance of KRIs and KPIs while guiding continuous improvement.

The role is four days onsite at Seneca One Buffalo with a flexible work-from-home one day per week and requires extensive SQL, data visualization, and AI-enabled tooling to deliver actionable insights across risk and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related experience, or 11+ years combined education/work.
• Minimum of 1 year managerial or supervisory experience.
• Experience with at least one data visualization tool.
• Experience designing advanced dashboards/reports and visualizations.
• Expert knowledge of data visualization approaches.
• Experience using SQL to analyze, extract, and transform data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytics, reporting, data visualization, and automation best practices.
• Publish BI dashboards/reports; analyze adoption and usage trends.
• Create access to ad-hoc analysis and self-service BI tools; train organization on tool usage.
• Query, structure, transform, and model data for dashboards, reports and automation.
• Ensure data quality, metadata, and data modeling standards.
• Develop descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive reporting to identify trends.
