Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. in Dublin, CA seeks a Help Desk Support Analyst to support data reporting, system inquiries, and allocation analytics in a corporate setting. This permanent/long-term temporary role offers exposure to a Fortune 500 environment and cross-functional collaboration within Allocation Operations.

You will generate and validate reports, write SQL queries, and analyze data to drive insights. A hybrid work arrangement and standard 8–hour schedule complete the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently analyze data sets and summarize recommendations.
• Proficiency in SQL for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
• Experience with VBA, Python, or equivalent languages.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Generate reports and validate data accuracy while meeting SLA.
• Create and validate ad hoc reports by writing custom queries and formatting data in MS Excel.
• Analyze Allocation data and summarize key findings for Department Leadership.
• Coordinate implementation of Allocation systems via Allocation software and proprietary systems.
• Triage technical issues with Allocation reports, tools, and software; escalate as needed.
• Test and validate changes to IT-supported Allocation systems.
