Job summary

Genworth in Richmond, VA is seeking a Data Product & Integration Analyst to connect business stakeholders with analytics, data engineering, and technology partners. You will define data requirements, validate mappings, and support governance to enable trusted data assets for segmentation, reporting, and risk analysis.

Collaborate across data teams to build scalable data products, improve data quality, and ensure consistent definitions and lineage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, CS, Business, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of data analysis, business analysis, data governance, data stewardship, data modeling, or data engineering.
• 5+ years SQL experience with complex queries on large datasets.
• 3+ years Power BI experience with semantic models and dataflows.
• 3+ years scripting in Python or R.
• 3+ years with Azure or cloud data services and data warehouse/lake concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, or data lineage.
• Experience with Git-based version control.
• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables and external data connections.
• Experience with Agile delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain curated datasets across systems for customer segmentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineers to source and transform data into trusted assets.
• Validate mappings, lineage, and business rules for accuracy and traceability.
• Support development of data products for reporting and analytics.
• Apply data governance to improve quality and usability.
• Create metadata, data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage documentation.
• Define and monitor data quality controls with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into actionable data requirements.
• Partner with analytics teams to align data solutions with objectives.
• Lead small data integration or governance projects.
