Mobility seeks an experienced, hands-on Associate Director Software Engineering to lead a NY-based engineering team. You will balance mentorship with active coding across data solutions and backend services, guiding architecture decisions and delivery in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, drive scalable data platforms, and explore AI and large language models to shape enterprise software.

Qualifications

• 9+ years building enterprise-scale software solutions and 2+ years leading software engineering teams.
• Proven ability to contribute hands-on while mentoring engineers and delivering scalable applications.
• Experience designing data solutions, APIs, and distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Strong background in backend development, data processing, and modern SDLC practices.
• Familiarity with AI concepts, large language models, and advanced analytics.
