Job summary

Eversource is seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer to advance analytics for Protection and Controls (P&C) across engineering and operations. You will collaborate with IT and other teams to define systems for managing P&C data and ensuring high quality data from multiple sources.

Your role includes building scalable data pipelines, improving data quality, and delivering reports and dashboards to support compliance and engineering problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with scripting languages used for engineering calculations (MATLAB highly desired).
• Experience with data pipeline and data integration tools and with database technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze protection system records to ensure compliance with NERC, NPCC, and ISO NE standards.
• Develop scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store data from multiple sources.
• Create and curate datasets for reporting and build PowerBI visualizations.
• Identify and remediate data quality issues and collaborate across teams.
