Job summary

Allegiant is seeking a Data Engineer to architect, develop, and maintain its enterprise data infrastructure as it migrates from on-premise data marts to a cloud hosted data warehouse.

You will design scalable ETL processes, oversee SQL Server and Redshift data marts, leverage AWS services, and ensure data quality and modeling while working on a hybrid schedule with in-office presence two days per week or when campus is open.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Allegiant data marts and data warehouses.
• Migrate on-premise infrastructure to AWS environment.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL processes.
• Implement data quality checks.
• Troubleshoot data processing pipelines.
• Build data transformations and validation for BI.
• Maintain SQL Server and Redshift environments.
• Collaborate with business to translate requirements into data models.
