Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking an AWS ETL Data Engineer - HYBRID to design, develop and support enterprise data platforms with privacy governance in mind.

You will build scalable data pipelines using Spark, AWS Glue and Redshift, integrate multiple sources, and provide production support while collaborating with cross-functional teams. 15+ years of data experience preferred. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Data Warehouse/Big Data environments.
• 5+ years in a lead/ SME role.
• 5+ years with AWS architecture and data engineering (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
• 3+ years with Spark (Scala/Python).
• 5+ years SQL/PLSQL, MySQL experience.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, distributed processing, governance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark, AWS Glue, Lambda, and shell scripting.
• Build and support ETL/ELT processes across AWS platforms (S3, Hive, Iceberg, Redshift).
• Develop Redshift SQL/PLSQL code, stored procedures, and data-processing frameworks.
• Tune queries, optimize performance, and implement data sharing.
• Ingest and process JSON, CSV, XML, ORC, Parquet, and Avro formats.
• Collaborate to deliver unified customer data across systems.
• Integrate multiple sources to support reporting, analytics, and engagement.
• Provide production support and root-cause analysis for data platform issues.
• Manage Data Subject Requests (DSRs) and privacy compliance with the DPO.
• Maintain MicroStrategy Privacy Compliance module (infrequent).
