Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an proactive Operations Analyst in Randburg to drive operational efficiency through data analysis and process evaluation. You’ll work with multiple departments to identify performance gaps and deliver data-driven recommendations in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field and 2–3 years of experience, strong Excel/SQL skills, experience with Tableau or Power BI, and excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and productivity.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and propose data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand operational challenges and implement recommended changes.
• Assist in the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma.
