Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams per ANSI/ISA S5.1, and to design panels including layout and wiring diagrams for complex facilities. You will collaborate with global teams, manage schedules and deliver accurate reports while advancing state-of-the-art plant and facility projects.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years BIM design experience, proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM360, and an Associates degree in Drafting or Engineering

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology required.
• Minimum 2+ years BIM design experience.
• Experience with BIM360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design state-of-the-art data centers, semiconductor and other facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of control systems.
• Create P&ID diagrams following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbols.
• Collaborate with global multidisciplinary teams and manage schedules.
