Job summary

Hourglass Cosmetics is seeking a Data Architecture and Insights Analyst to improve data quality, structure, and analytical processes across the organization. This role supports Finance, Demand Planning, Commercial Sales, and IT to enable reliable reporting and informed decision making.

In this hybrid role, you will own data flows between systems, evolve the Power BI environment, and automate recurring processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics, or business intelligence.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating data.
• Proficiency in Excel for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, including data modeling and cross-source integration.
• Demonstrates practical use of AI-assisted tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude).
• Ability to communicate data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve data quality issues and inefficiencies across the organization.
• Build and maintain clean, well-structured data tables for reporting and analysis.
• Own and evolve the Power BI environment with dashboards and reports for leadership.
• Support forecasting, sell-through analysis, and inventory reporting with reliable datasets.
• Review and understand data sources and workflows across ERP and planning platforms.
• Automate recurring data and reporting processes to scale operations.
• Perform validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis for data integrity.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, dictionaries, and process guides.
• Collaborate with Finance, Demand Planning, IT, and Commercial on evolving data needs.
